Calculator values are processed in your browser for the estimate shown on screen. The current application does not require an account and does not send entered sale, cost, or tax values to a MarketCalcs server.
Website analytics
Google Analytics 4
MarketCalcs uses Google Analytics 4 to understand general website usage and improve the service. Google Analytics may collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, and a client identifier stored in the first-party _ga cookie. MarketCalcs disables Google signals and advertising-personalization signals in its Google tag configuration.
MarketCalcs does not intentionally send calculator entries or results to Google Analytics. This includes item price, shipping, sales tax, costs, fees, proceeds, and profit. Google describes its default collection in its Analytics data-collection documentation. Google's handling of Analytics data is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Microsoft Clarity
MarketCalcs uses Microsoft Clarity to understand non-sensitive website interactions through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. Clarity may process page and device information, clicks, scrolling, pointer movement, layout changes, and diagnostic events, and may use first-party and third-party cookies or similar technologies.
The calculator workspace is explicitly masked before Clarity receives its content. Entered item prices, shipping, sales tax, costs, and the resulting fees, proceeds, and profit are not intended to be uploaded or visible in session replay. Microsoft documents its Clarity data collection and handles data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Information this site does not ask for
- eBay login credentials or transaction statements
- Payment-card, bank-account, or payout information
- Seller account identifiers or order numbers
